Wine-jelly is made from Bíborkadarka wine of Egerszalók.

It contains red wine (less than 1% alcohol), sugar, gelling agent.
Bíborkadarka is a colouring wine which is used to improve colour of red wines, it contains 4000 colouring materials and compounds, flavoinids, mostly resveratrole compound. Resveratrole can mostly be found in red grapes, red wine, and also in cocoa, dark chocolate and hazel nut.
Resveratrole:
- binds free redicals, thus inhibits cancer cell proliferation,
- it dilates blood vessels and makes it more flexible and thus helps to reduce blood pressure,
- it prevents the deposition of cholesterol.
- it is anti-inflammatory, immune system booster and has mood enhancing properties.
Based on the feedback of wine jelly consumers:
- Several inflammatory bowel patients became asymptomatic,
- Absorption of iron got normalized,
- Bounce blood sugar levels returned to normal,
- Psoriasis decreased and disappeared, and a number of positive health effects have been achieved
