Our family winery has been in operation in Egerszalók for over 20 years; at present, we cultivate 7.5 hectares. Of the traditional kinds to be found in the wine region, we produce eleven kinds of grapes. We take good care of our vineyards, which are located in the Eger Wine Region, in the outskirts of Egerszalók, some 7 km from Eger, so we can process excellent quality grapes at harvest time. We prefer traditional grape-processing. We pick our grapes late to obtain high levels of sugar. The good quality of our wines is guaranteed by the carefully produced grapes, decades of expertise and wood-barrel mellowing in cellars carved in riolite tufa. We sell one part of our wines in the wine-grower's shop, and another in our cellar wine-bar, either by the glass or in bottles. Our offer includes quality white, red and rosé, dry, semi dry, semi sweet and sweet wines, both in jugs and bottles. We organise group events with wine-tasting and meals.
